This year?s East Africa Internet Governance Forum has been shifted from Dar-es-Salam, Tanzania to Nairobi Kenya.
According to a statement from organizers the forum is for the youth in the East Africa region who contribute to the wider regional Internet Governance policy.
The forum will be held from 17th to 18th July at Jacaranda Hotel in Nairobi and successful participants will receive a round-trip ticket, hotel accommodation and stipend.
The qualifying criteria included; youth between the ages of 20 and 30 years, strong motivation for attending the meeting and demonstrable understanding of Internet Governance issues local, regional and international environment.
According to the forum program, Dr. Bitange Ndemo, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Information and Communications of Kenya will give a key note address on the first day of the meeting.
